Trash the Class Day!
This six weeks, we are learning about recycling. My student teacher and I had the brilliant (ha!) idea of collecting "clean" trash and "trashing" the class. When the kids returned from specials, they were surprised to find their class had been trashed. They took turns sorting the trash into three bins: paper, plastic, cans. Fun was had by all - and the teachers DIDN'T have to clean up! :)
